Delete your account

Two ways to do it. The first takes about ten seconds.

This page exists so that you can delete your Advance OS account whether or not you still have the app installed. Google Play requires it, and it is the right thing to offer anyway.

In the app — immediate

1. Open Advance OS and sign in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Open Account.
4. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

Your account and its data are deleted straight away. There is no waiting period and no recovery — this is deliberate.

Without the app

If you have uninstalled Advance OS, or you can no longer sign in, email hugo@kingdomglobal.org from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account.

We will confirm it is you, delete the account, and write back to tell you it is done. We answer within 30 days, and usually within a few working days.

What is deleted

• Your profile — name, photo, email, phone number, date of birth
• Your messages and voice notes
• Your posts, comments and prayer requests
• Your prayer walks and their routes
• Photos, videos and files you uploaded
• Your levels, streaks and activity history
• Your push notification tokens and sign-in credentials

What may remain, and why

• Messages you sent to other people. They stay in the recipient's conversation, in the same way a letter you posted stays with the person who received it.
• Encrypted backups, for a short period, until they age out on their normal schedule.
• Records the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.
• A Kingdom Group you led continues to exist with its remaining members. Deleting your account does not delete other people.
