Fill every [[ ]] and have a lawyer read it. Section 6 exists because Apple requires it of every app carrying content from other people, and it must be enforced in practice, not merely written here.
These terms are an agreement between you and Kingdom Advancers (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Advance OS.
You must be at least 13 years old. You must give accurate information when you sign up, keep your password to yourself, and tell us if someone else uses your account.
Advance OS is a platform for Kingdom Communities and Kingdom Groups: messaging, prayer, groups, teaching, and the life of a movement. We may add, change or remove features. If we remove something you rely on, we will say so in the app.
You keep ownership of everything you write, record and upload. You give us the permission we need to run the service — to store your content, and to show it to the people and groups you chose to send it to. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already delivered to other members and copies in routine backups.
Prayer Walk records your route while you walk. Watch where you are going. Do not use the app while driving. Be aware of traffic, of your surroundings and of local conditions. You are responsible for your own safety, and for deciding where it is safe to walk and whom to walk with.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Advance OS. That is a commitment about what we do, not a slogan.
A Kingdom Group leader can invite people, remove members, and hand leadership to someone else. Nobody is ever moved into a Kingdom Group without accepting an invitation. Leaders act for themselves, not for us, and we are not responsible for what they decide.
Nothing is sold inside Advance OS at present. If that changes, the terms of any purchase or donation will be shown to you before you pay, and the payment provider's own terms will also apply.
You may delete your account at any time, in the app or through the deletion page. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.
We work to keep Advance OS running and accurate, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability to you is limited to ZAR 5,000. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and disputes will be dealt with by its courts. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
Apple and Google are not parties to this agreement and are not responsible for Advance OS. On iOS, Apple's standard licensed-application end-user licence terms also apply, and Apple may enforce them as a third-party beneficiary.
We will tell you in the app before material changes take effect. Continuing to use Advance OS after that means you accept the new terms.
